Die Zeiten in Australien waren unvergessliche Tage, ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in Australien sehr genossen. Es gab sowohl abenteuerliche, traurige als auch lustige Tage, die ich erlebte.
In Bright habe ich neue Schulfreunde kennengelernt, die mir seit heute sehr fehlen... , in den Pausen hatten wir sehr viel gesprochen. Mit meiner Familie ging ich zu Nachbarn und wir amüsierten uns. Der letzte Tag in Bright war für mich ein ,,Highlight" da mir meine Hostmutter sagte: ,,Die Mutter meiner Freundin heiratet nach 20 Jahren Trennung ihren Mann wieder und nach der Trauung gibt es eine Party, da werden wir hingehen." Am letzten Abend in Bright gingen wir zu unseren Nachbarn und gratulierten dem Hochzeitspaar.

 Am 25.03.2018 wurden wir zum Bahnhof gebracht, weil unsere nächste Fahrt nach Sydney ging. Alle Buddys und deren Eltern waren auch am Bahnhof. Der Abschied von allen fiel mir sehr schwer, da ich eine wundervolle Zeit hatte...!

Als ich nach Deutschland zurückkam, erzählte ich voller Stolz meinen Eltern und Freunden, wie schön es in Australien war. Ich werde es sehr vermissen und hoffe, eines Tages meine australischen Freunde wiedersehen zu können :).

Herzlich möchte ich mich nochmal bei der Schule bedanken für den tollen Austausch, den ich miterleben durfte.

Letzter Tag am College

Die letzten drei Wochen sind so schnell vergangen. Heute war unser letzter Tag am P-12 College.

Wir stellten anhand einer PowerPoint-Präsentation den Kindern aus der primary school (Grundschule) Bayern bzw. Deutschland vor. Wir erzählten ihnen etwas über unsere Tiere, unsere Feste und Bräuche und unser Essen. 

Mr Kusch erklärte uns, dass es an dem College ein Projekt gibt, bei dem Schüler Wein herstellen können. Sie bauen die Weintrauben selber an, designen das Flaschenetikett und verkaufen den fertigen Wein.

Wir mussten uns dann von allen verabschieden, da es unser letzter Schultag war. Der Abschied von unseren Freunden, die wir drei Wochen lang jeden Tag gesehen hatten, fiel uns nicht leicht, weil wir die meisten wahrscheinlich nie wieder sehen werden.









Am Abend trafen wir uns mit unseren Hostfamilies am Oven River und machten gemeinsam ein kleines Entenrennen.










Hoffentlich sehen wir ganz viele Freunde in zwei Jahren bei dem Besuch der australischen Schüler in Bad Aibling wieder.

Mein persönliches Fazit von Melbourne

 Als wir in Melbourne ankamen, habe ich schon die Unterschiede zu Deutschland gemerkt, wie zum Beispiel der Geruch, (es riecht nach Eukalyptus), die Straßen - hier ist Linksverkehr, die Natur, einfach die ganze Umgebung. Aber es war irgendwie genau so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Es war eine tolle Erfahrung, die Stadt so gut kennen zu lernen. Und das haben wir wirklich, denn wir sind - gefühlt - den ganzen Tag durch die Stadt gelaufen. Das war zwar ziemlich anstrengend, aber es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt und wir haben den Tag sehr gut genutzt. 

Wir haben tolle Dinge erlebt, aber das Highlight des Tages war, als wir auf den Eureka Tower gefahren sind und bei der unglaublichen Aussicht auf Melbourne den Sonnenuntergang angeschaut haben.








Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen, und ich hoffe es bietet sich mir irgendwann nochmal die Möglichkeit, nach Australien zu reisen, es hat sich wirklich gelohnt.

Besonderheiten rund um Bright

Als ich Bright das erste Mal sah, war es größer als ich erwartet hatte. Allerdings nicht in der Höhe größer, sondern in der Breite. Fast alle Häuser hatten sehr große Grundstücke und im Stadtkern waren einige Kaufhäuser, auch mehr als ich erwartet hatte. Die Häuser in der Stadt, meist Supermärkte, Cafes, Restaurants, Kleiderläden und was es nicht alles gab, hatten nicht mehr als zwei Stockwerke. 

Die Schule war auch sehr groß, alle Klassenzimmer waren über den ganzen Campus verteilt. Um und in Bright gab es auch sehr viele Grünflächen, vor allem um den Fluss herum. Einige Attraktionen gab es auch, wie zum Beispiel den Splashpark mit der Wasserrutsche, den Wandiligong  Maze, ein Museum, den Oven River, in welchem man auch schwimmen kann und noch mehr. Sowohl in den Tälern, als auch in den Bergen gibt es eine Menge Wanderwege.

Ich selbst habe Bright und Umgebung als Ort aufgefasst, der für aktive Menschen, die gerne in die Natur gehen oder eher entspannen möchten,  sehr geeignet ist! Es war dennoch ein wundervoller Ausflug mit der ganzen Gruppe gewesen und ich war sehr glücklich, mit dabei gewesen zu sein!

My last big trip - and some last words...

Hi Guys,

I want to tell you something about my last big trip last week on the long weekend.
Our Plan was to go to the desert that I can see red kangaroos and emus.

But first of all we had a stop at Echuka!

Echuka is one of the biggst worths in Victoria.

 After that we kept on going and stopped at a camping site for one night and we had a BBQ there.


The next day we got to many cities... they looked like ghost cities because so many shops were closed and you coudn´t see people in this city. We had lunch in a bakery.

We went to Hattah lakes and saw many birds and footprints from diffrent animals in the sand.

After this we finally got to the spot where we planned to camp. It was the Murray Sunset National Park with beautiful lakes....

These lakes are not really lakes because there is salt on top of it, under the salt you can find mud and water. The salt is very thick and you can walk on this lake but at a few places there are holes where you can break throu. It was amazing to see that...

We had a little walk after we got there.

There were a few problems...like bees. They came so quikly.
The other problem was the flies, there were so many flies there and they were follwing you the whole time.

so annoying....

 They wanted water and that was the reason, why they came.






This was very cool... We were there for two days and we did a big walk around the salt lakes and we saw kangaroos...

and...

That was cool, they were just there in the paddock.


 This is one of the salt lakes, our lake was called Crosbie, that's where we camped.










 They farmed salt there. There is so much salt and the salt of the lakes is 8-times saltier then the sea!!

You can see the white hings on the hills. This is salt, everything you can see is salt and this is a place where they farmed salt.

That was my last big trip and I enyoied it so much and I don´t want to leave Australia and all the friends I made!!!! I'm so sad that the time here is over and it feels like one months or one week!!!

I thank you so much that you had so much fun with me and did so many things on the weekends. I liked the time here and especially with this family. I'm very thankful that all of you care so much about me! And it is really the best thing you can do at this age!!! I thank you, Kira that you are part of my life and in this exchnge, you're not in the picture, so thank you very much that you took this picture and I hope you can do this exchange in the future!

I look foraward to seeing you again, all of you in Germany and I hope this exchange never ends. It is a chest full of gold you can earn when you do this big step and learn from these people. I learned so much from them and my life changed so much.

Thank thank you, thank you very much for this time, I can't discribe how good this is and how lovely this family is....

I thank my school and hope that they keep this program goin. Just see what this progam meant to me.
I thank my parents that they could pay for this wonderful exchange.

I really thank my teachers in my school and my teachers who came with us and did so much paperwork for that!!!
